Not only is it budget-friendly, it saves precious storage space and lets you paint for hours without having to refill. And let’s not forget, it doubles as a stool or platform for those hard-to-reach spots. So why settle for a mediocre painting experience when you can elevate it with the ultimate tool — a 5 gallon bucket. Trust me, you won’t regret it.

What you need to start painting from a 5 gallon bucket

  1. 5 gallon bucket, rope handle optional
  2. 5 gallon paint grid screen
  3. Roller frame
  4. Roller cover, lambswool > everything
  5. And some quality Paint

Optional items

  1. Bucket liners
  2. Painting extension pole
  3. Roller cleaner spinner
  1. Grab a 5 gallon bucket
  2. Take a bucket liner or trash bag and line the bucket
  3. Drop the paint screen in place
  4. Pour the paint into the bucket
  5. Wet the roller cover and ring it out
  6. Slip the roller cover over roller frame spindle
  7. Screw the roller frame to the paint pole
  8. Shallowly dip the roller into the paint
  9. Slowly move the roller up and down the paint screen to spread the paint across the cover. Dip and spread as needed.
  10. Paint!
  11. When done painting, pick the bag out of the bucket
  12. If there’s leftover paint, cut a corner off the bag to use as a drain
  13. Clean the cover, toss the bag and job well done
